VIA ROMA 35

The body of work Via Roma 35 is a series of 10 photographs called Camere (room). The ten photographs are intended to seek a more subtle and less immediately evident relationship between the identity of the old black and white photos and the atmosphere of the spaces shot in colour in which they are inserted, almost as if the photographer wished to capture a particular genius loci. The explicit recourse to alienation permits the author to bring out archetypical memories, universally shared or the result of family experiences. ‘It is the observers who must conclude the work through their memories and experiences by transferring them into these photographic containers, thus allowing the pictures to regain an identity that is both personal and universal.
